He was lucky enough to turn his passion into a career.
His journey on that path made him an expert in book distribution. He was a buyer at the Galeries Lafayette, a general manager for the bookstores Flammarion and Librairie Privat, and a general manager in books for the brand Chapitre.com.
But he wanted something different. He decided to risk the adventure of the changing industry towards e-books, but brought with him a different point of view.
So he turned a virtual page of his life, and went from bookstores to publishing digital content for new reading media.
As a publisher of digital mangas, he has reinvented his passion, and has a shared ambition in Mangako.

Maximin Gourcy
Educated
in the field of law, specialized in intellectual property, Maximin
Gourcy practiced in the law firm FCP Avocats, working with artists,
audiovisual production companies, and publishing houses.
In 2007 he established the Japanime-Planet Association, along with a group of people also passionate about the manga culture, and became its Chariman.
He most notably brought to fruition the travelling exhibition "Manga in All its Forms", which remains a success to this day.
In addition, he organized many conferences, screenings, and professional development days in the hopes of promoting the manga culture, it's history, and its code.
As a refined connoisseur of manga, with an enthusiasm for new technology, and as a legal professional in the world of publishing, Maximin Gourcy delves into the world of Mangako.
